Can I move the water cylinder to the attic?

I own a top floor apartment with an attic. All electric with a large cold-over-hot water cylinder and pump in the hotpress. I need to move the water cylinder and pump, in order to convert the hotpress into a soundproof booth. We'd like a new cylinder too, since the one we have only provides enough hot water for 1/3 of a bathful. It is probably very unwise to mount a cylinder on the joists, as they are not thick enough. There are blockwork walls at both ends of the attic. Could a horizontal cylinder be mounted on a blockwork wall safely, if the right fixings and brackets are drilled far enough in?

55in TV wall mounted on plasterboard wall

I have a 55in Oled TV I'm wanting to mount on my wall. The mounted wall is a plasterboard wall. The TV weight according to specs listed on Samsung website is 16kg and the mounted bracket is 2kg. Would a plasterboard wall be strong enough to hold this type of weight if studs can't be located?

who do I hire to install ducting foe kitchen hood?

My kitchen fitter says they will fit the kitchen hood but won't install the ducting from the hood to the wall vent themselves. Who do I hire to do that? A builder? An electrician?

    Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling

The paint is from the ceiling of my bathroom. This is mostly above the bath and shower area, the rest of the room is ok. I think it is because it is a new-build and contractors have just put cheap paint directly onto the plaster and not primed it. Would I need to peel all the paint off and start from scratch, or can I just scrape it off in the affected area, prime that area and then paint over the entire ceiling with new paint?

    Internal door installation

The house I have is quite old and I am looking to have internal doors replaced unfortunately the sizes of doors I can purchase are quite a few cm too big and it's my understanding that you can only remove a small amount off doors to be hung. Would I need l to get new frames installed aswell or is there a way round this? Any feedback is appreciated as I am all ready to get it done but don't want to waste money purchasing doors that can't be fitted. Many thanks

    Outdoor concrete stairs

I’m trying to find out if it would be possible to get my front steps skimmed - they’re outdoors and are just needing a wee bit TLC. It’s 8 stairs and possibly the ground right at the front door and side of the staircase. If possible, a rough idea of cost would be great too.
