    We have levelled the hearth and present drilled holes ready to attach Carron cast iron fireplace to wall. We now need someone to connect the Nu Flame Gas Insert to the existing capped supply.     Radiators turning on when hot water used

    Why do my radioators turn on when the hot water tap is turned on? We've turned the dial on the boiler to "water only" but it hasn't worked. We have an ideal combi boiler. Is this something we could fix ourselves or would we have to get a plumber in? If so, how much would this cost? Thanks. Much appreciated for any advise.

    I have just changed the handle and lock on my front uPVC door but the door won't lock when closed. I tried repositioning the striking plate but it only lock when I took it off. The lock works when the door is open. Do I need the strike plate? Or do I need to replace it?
