Community Guidelines

Before posting anything for the benefit of the MyJobQuote community please read the rules below. Failure to adhere to our community guidelines can result in a warning or banning from our service. We expect MyJobQuote users and the content posted to our site to be:

• Polite
• Fair
• Honest
• Constructive
• Informative
• Helpful

Rules relating to Reviews

If you choose to post a public review of a company you agree to adhere to our Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy.

You also agree that:

• The review is honest and truthful
• The review explains the experience you have received
• The review contains no personal information relating to you or the company you are reviewing
• The review contains no bad language, defamatory comments, slander or comments that are not related to the work completed
• If the review is in relation to a missed appointment, it will be recorded as such

Where we believe the review does not adhere to the statements above we will investigate. All reviews are checked manually before they are published. Reviews will only be edited in accordance with the policies explained in this document. We will contact the reviewer if a review breaks our community guidelines to ask for the review to be modified so that it does comply with what is allowed. If a review breaks our guidelines and the reviewer cannot be contacted to verify the details we reserve the right to remove the review.

As we allow our trades to respond to reviews that are left for them, we also check these responses.

Rules relating to Review Responses

We allow our trades to respond to reviews left for them, whether the feedback is positive or negative. In responding to a review you agree that:

• The response is honest and truthful
• The response is a direct response to the review received
• The response contains no personal information relating to either party
• The review contains no bad language, defamatory comments, slander or personal comments

Rules relating to public profiles

If you choose to post publicly on your MyJobQuote profile you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions as well as our privacy policy.

You also agree to:

• Keep information accurate
• Post only relevant content relating to your job or business
• Follow our general rules below
• Not to advertise phone numbers or other personal information
• Profiles are public, which means whatever you post can be read by the general public
• Post content that is useful, that does not offend other users

Failure to agree to the rules relating to public profiles could result in:

• A general warning that leads to the content being removed/edited
• Removal from the service

General Rules

No bad language - This includes anything that is likely to offend or be derogatory towards another user

Treat others how you expect to be treated - This means, no threats or abuse of other users

Be Friendly - Keep a friendly tone when posting information publicly

Nothing illegal - Don't post or link to illegal content, it will be removed if you do

Don't cheat the system - Advertising or circumventing our systems is not allowed. We want all users to have the best experience and jeopardising our systems and protection mechanisms can harm users so please refrain.
