How do you remove tree roots from a drain pipe? Can I do this by myself or is it too risky/difficult? Will I need to add some kind of treatment afterwards to make sure the issue won’t keep repeating?

How to remove bird poop from the gutters? They’re PVC gutters so I don’t want to use any methods/products that are overly abrasive.

Can the colour you paint a guttering help with its longevity? For example, some colours reflect the sun more and some absorb heat more, so could colours on a gutter that reflect more heat mean they’ll experience less heat damage and last longer? Or will these benefits be negligible?

There’s a ditch across the way from my home and someone used to come by and clear it out every so often. But suddenly it’s no longer happening. Do you know why this might be? Is it to do with council? Might it have something to do with covid and the disruption its caused to operations, etc.? What other reason might it be?

Asked by Charles on 25th Feb 2021

There’s a pipe below my driveway which has blocked up. Am I responsible for this? If not, who might be and how could I find out?
