Garage door remotely controlled

I have a double garage door, with remote control. No problem to open it but when l try to close it, it goes down then up again and l have to finish closing it manually using a special tool and a special key by a side wall opening but it’s very difficult. I cleaned the area around the door and no change. I can hear clicking sound from the unit.

"It's definitely sensing an obstruction, are the rails clean ?"

"By what you have stated it sounds like a sensor issue - check the connections to the sensor and also check to see if there is any signs of damage to the sponsors"

"seams to be a sensor problem either the sensors faulty on closures or as the door shuts it's picking up an obstruction would contact the garage door installer or the manufacturer for advice should be paper work or information on the unit itself"

"Good evening, it sounds from what you are explaining that the lower fail safe is not working correctly. This fail safe is installed to prevent the door from coming and continuing all the way down if the is an obstruction.
Could possibly sensor fault.

"Hello Ned, You might need to to replace the motor(opener)"

"It sounds like your garage door is reversing when closing because the safety system is being triggered. This is often caused by misaligned or obstructed sensors, or by the door’s limit switch being set incorrectly, which tells the opener where the fully closed position is. Mechanical issues such as friction in the tracks, worn rollers, or spring tension can also cause this behaviour. The clicking sound from the unit usually indicates the motor is trying to engage but stops due to one of these safety triggers."

"It sounds like a sensor on the close circuit is not working at the same there could be a problem either mechanically as the dor tries to drive down.
Sounds like you need a proper on this one"

"It sounds like a classic safety feature is being triggered. The clicking sound you hear from the unit is likely the motor or a relay attempting to close the door, and the immediate reversal is its safety mechanism kicking in.
This safety reversal mechanism is designed to prevent the door from crushing an object or person."

"I am not a grarage expert, however, it seems to me your garage door seems to see an obstruction in closing
Safety issues suggest it opens again.

These can take many forms.
Actual obstructions, something blocking the " safety beam" being obstructed.
The shutters it self being obstructed."
