Installing Scotia beading.
I want to install Scotia beating. Should I be using adhesive or nails? Should I attatch it to the laminate, just the skirting board or both?
Replace floor joists - costs & estimates
How much would it cost to replace the floor joists and floor boards in a 12 foot by 14 foot room. The room has a chimney in it and is on the ground floor. The current floor is bowed quite a bit, any other suggestion for fixes other than replacing the floor would be good to know.
Realistic carpet removal cost
Need to get new carpets installed, but the quotes I've got for just removing the carpets from the whole house seem a bit excessive. I'm in a 4 bedroom detached and they want £1000 to take it out and away. Is this reasonable? It just seems a bit too much to me, but I'd like to know what experts think about this
