How much wastage for herringbone floor

I know what I want, but what wastage should I budget for when buying the materials for the installer?

"I would allow for 20% wastage and what ever you dont use can be credited/returned cheaper than paying for a tradesmen to come back another day because you under ordered"

"I would usually recommend 10 to 15% to cover cuts and to give the area that little bit more just incase of wrong cuts"

I do fair bit of herringbone lvt and I normally order only 7 % and I’ve never not had enough, but 10% to be safe"
