How much wastage for herringbone floor

I know what I want, but what wastage should I budget for when buying the materials for the installer?

Need no more than 10% 
I do fair bit of herringbone lvt and I normally order only 7 % and I’ve never not had enough, but 10% to be safe

I would usually recommend 10 to 15% to cover cuts and to give the area that little bit more just incase of wrong cuts

I would allow for 20% wastage and what ever you dont use can be credited/returned cheaper than paying for a tradesmen to come back another day because you under ordered

Ive just seen the answers you where given and they may confuse you.
People saying more than 10% could be correct on a kitchen wall splash back in herringbone but on any floor, as you are only losing cuts around the perimeter, 10% will be sufficient for any tiler, especially if the skirting is going on after so it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect angled cuts. Do not go over 15% that is ridiculous!!

15% wastage herringbone usually covers it. All depends on cuts but I’ve never gone over 15%

Hi you need to take into account around a 25%wastage when having a herringbone pattern

20% is the usual wastage it’s also handy to have some left overs like a box for repairs if product goes out of production
