    Creeking Laminate Flooring

I got herringbone laminate flooring laid about six months ago on a concrete subfloor with polystyrene bubble underlay. I need to get the creeking sound fixed that I was told would settle by time but it hasn't settled at all. It was leveled as much as possible before laying it down. I don't know if it could be the underlay being too thin or the type of the underlay as it has good reviews online designed for uneven subfloor. Can this be fixed without damaging the laminate flooring?

Mould spreading after a fixed water leak

Can mould spread throughout a home even if there isn’t a water leakage issue? Mould is still spreading in different rooms of the house. It all started with a big leak several years ago but that issue was fixed and I don’t see any other signs of leakage. So is it possible that some of the mould simply survived the initial effort to kill it off and has spread from there even without a renewed problem with water leaking? I know that moisture can cause the problem too. How can I tell if moisture/humidity levels are too high in my home? And how can I rule out the possibility that a new water leak is helping the mould to spread again?

    House renovation

I am renovating a small 2 bed terrace house. There are numerous repairs required. These include roof and chimney repairs (stripping slates adding weather barrier and refitting), ground floor repair / renovation and damp tanking (floor joists rotted at front wall), kitchen door move (to existing window) / wall alteration (RSJ) and new fit units, bathroom new fit, new windows / doors (6 windows, front and rear door, 1 small velux), possible rewiring, yard wall demolition and rebuild, free standing garage demolition and removal. I am currently looking for quotes for works required. How much generally should I expect to pay? High and low estimate?? Cheers
