Silverfish in bathroom

I've seen a few silverfish in our bathroom. Should I be worried? Can they cause damage?

"Silverfish are really just a nuisance and are certainly not considered as a public health pest (Incapable of biting you and are not known to be distributors of disease). They are however a good indication of an underlying problem as you'll usually only find them in or near damp areas. I would recommend removing the bath panel and checking for any leaks or dampness in the wall. Don't call pest control (Doing myself out of business again) as you can generally get rid of them with a cheap can of insect spray, once you've dealt with the damp issue"

"Silverfish are harmless but its a sign you have a leak in there. Get a plumber out to locate the leak."

"No damage as such but the problem won't go away without treatment also you tend to find them in dark and damp areas. It's treatable from a licensed pest controller"

"Silverfish don’t cause damage neither is anything to be worried about! Best solution is to completely remove this issue is to make sure all areas are well dried out and reseal and area’s of bathroom with sealant."
