  • Keep loosing pressure on gas boiler

I keep losing pressure in gas boiler, after I top it up within an hour the boiler is empty of water, also when I turn boiler of after about 30 mins I get very loud banging noise from loft area as if someone was harmering the pipes and this would last for hours. Not sure if I have a leak but can not see any signs on ceilings with damp patches.

    Window seal replacement

I've noticed that when I open my double glazed windows, the seal on the inside are damaged and has a lot of mould. I used to be able to get away with cleaning the inner pvc area once every six months yet I'm noticing it getting mould quickly and needing done at least once a month to stop it from building up. It's mostly affecting the bedroom windows and my upper hallway. I've noticed these windows getting a lot of condensation as well. Is it possible to replace this inside seal and if so what roughly would it cost to do something like this? The windows are between ten and twelve years old I think. Would ideally not want to completely replace as its not within budget just now.

Should I use cement for my floor tiles

Which adhesive for slate tiles will cement work?? I’ve had some tiling work on some floors done recently but found some of the tiles don’t stick down at all – I can lift them straight up! It is a concrete floor underneath and the tiles still need to be grouted. Is this normal to not be grouted yet? Should it be concrete or some kind of tile adhesive?
