Hi my question relates to a new roof I have just put on. It’s a fairly large roof and it’s split up into two sections. In between the two sides there is a dipped section which is almost flat. The roofer hasn’t put tiles on this section as the water drains towards the gutters. But should he have put some tiles here as this section is practically flat and will collect rainwater almost certainly? Should he have added tiles here and made a ridge?
I’m replacing two roof tiles. Can I throw these tiles in an ordinary bin? Should they go in a recycling bin? Or are roof tiles the sort of material that need to be disposed of with a unique waste disposal approach?
Hello all I am planning on having the same carpet fitted across multiple rooms in my home. Are carpet door bars going to be required even if it is the same joined carpet between the rooms? Will it help to keep the carpets fitted, neat, etc? Is there any other options instead for the door bars which still allow the carpet to be fitted across rooms?
How much will cost me to replace a bathroom sink? Thank you
How much to install a new bath, toilet and sink in a bathroom?
I have just taken over a small guest house and was wondering how long it would take to deep clean the kitchen and four bathrooms please? I'd like to get it done before peak season and need to see if I can squeeze it in between bookings.
Have noticed a few times over a couple of months, an eggy smell coming from the boiler cupboard.. Could smell it this morning when I woke up. Is this a massive concern? Got heating and hot water
I have recently had my Garden Room (one new circuit added and consumer unit in garden room) connected to my house (around 10m away) - I have been provided with a Condition Report and Certificate for Minor Works. I am told by the electrician that these works are not classed as 'notifiable' and therefore I have not been provided with a Building Regulation Part P Certification. Please can I have opinions? Thanks
We have a glass conservatory roof. What's the cheapest way to insulate and cover it so it looks like a room with a ceiling?
I need to paint my front door. Should the current paint be stripped first? Is there anything that will help me do this? Also if you could recommend some paint it would be greatly appreciated. Regards.
