Do I need planning permission

I do have 8 bedroom house in TS1.
3 bedrooms are ensuites, and the other 5 remaining rooms are not ensuites.
I would like all the 8 rooms to be ensuite.
I would like to know if I need planning permission from the Middlesbrough Council before I start looking for builder.

David

"thats a big house , but no you will not need permission . you will need a decent contractor though"

"Normally, you do not require planning permission to install a new bathroom unless it is part of an extension.

If your property is listed, you should consult with your local planning authority or seek the advice from architectural or planning consultants.

"No most definitely no req planning .
However if structural modifications you will need engineers design and building regs / building control involvement too."

"Hi David, you don't need planning permission to convert existing bedrooms into en suites, only if your knocking down walls or installing steel beams will you require building regulations from local authorities."
