    Can I install multiple switches for the same lights within one room?

    I would like to install more switches at two different doorways within the same large room. Ideally both switches could be used independently of each other without any conflict. Is it feasible for me to install the additional switch and make adjustments by myself or is this more for a professional electrician to complete? In either case, is it likely that I will need to repaint or plaster around the switches afterwards? Any advice on this project would be great!

    Replacement outside Tap

    Hi, I have recently had a repair done on my stop tap. The plumber removed the outside tap as a quick repair. He came back the next day to do the repair. After he finished the job i asked him about the outside tap. He said sorry i forgot to connect it. So off her went and reconnected the outside tap. My question is he's not fitted a DCV or a way for me to isolate the water during winter. There wasn't a DCV installed before but does he not need to install one now? Thanks

    Fireplace Wall with TV

    I wondered how much it would cost to build a fireplace wall, almost American style. The 'wall' would be around 200cm wide, floor to ceiling and would house an electric fireplace in the bottom and a recessed area for a TV. I am looking for a cost indication and a sense of time.
