"Johnstone paints covers well and has a good range of colours, it is expensive but worth it... to find an alternative which is cheaper is possible but that would need time and effort to identify. If you need the quality, the price is not that important. If price is more important than quality, then yes... there are cheaper alternatives."

"I only use Johnstones paints. The Aqua Guard looks fantastic on doors when done correctly.

The Durable acrylic is also great. You can wipe it down when dirty and looks like it's just been painted again. It's hard wearing also so it's worth the money.

The cover plus vinyl matt on ceilings provides and nice fresh look."

"I use Johnstone's paint a lot, highly recommend the product. The only downside is the cost but worth it for a nice smooth coat.

I use Johnstone's when we have a rough service or the customer wants a high quality finish."
