Ask your QuestionI wondered how much it would cost to build a fireplace wall, almost American style. The 'wall' would be around 200cm wide, floor to ceiling and would house an electric fireplace in the bottom and a recessed area for a TV. I am looking for a cost indication and a sense of time. If needed to helps I am based in Milton Keynes

"Stud wall plasterboard /Plaster/ skirting/electrics.
£2000"
"Hi There,
its quite dependant on the type of brick-stone and pattern of layment. If its a flat wall or if it has a "return " on either side back to the main wall, Like a standard chimney breast

"It would depend on whether you wanted character such as brick built . But if you just want plasterboard and stud work It would be about £1700"
