We have started laying Wickes laminate flooring and as we have reached the centre of the room the joints are not sitting flush.
I'm looking for tips to make sure our installation of a polished concrete floor in the kitchen goes well. What are the main dos and don'ts?
Would I be correct in assuming that polished concrete floors are waterproof? Or am I misunderstanding how it works?
Just bought a house and was looking to replace the vinyl flooring in the small rear conservatory. Lifted it up and there was a lot of moisture underneath. I’ve removed the vinyl to try and dry it out, but I’ve noticed water is coming through the flooring. It looks like it’s coming through the small air holes in the concrete and through parts of the edges. What is causing this issue? Can I be repaired? What type of tradesperson could help with this?
Hi. I’m thinking of having a polished concrete floor installed. I’m wondering whether expansion joints will be needed?
How can I find the most eco-friendly carpets? Or what are some examples of the most eco-friendly carpets?
We want to replace laminate in our kitchen with tile and plan to put in underfloor heating. Do we still need a radiator? It is a large room. Thanks
Is there usually a charge to have a flooring specialist simply undertake a site visit?
Is wood flooring generally thicker than carpet?
Hi. I was thinking of renovating my conservatory into something cool and which gives off a sort of ‘eco’ vibe. I was thinking of having a bamboo floor installed. Can I ask, how much this might cost per square metre?
