Where to start laying vinyl planks

Where should I start laying a vinyl plank floor? Is there an ideal starting point or wall?

"We recommend starting in the left corner of the longest wall in the room and to install the planks in the same direction as the main light source (e.g. the main window). Planks are always installed from left to right."

"Doesn't really matter unless your laying in herringbone pattern just lay first row against longest wall and just make sure when you get to other end your not left with just a slither if so cut abit of the full length down ."

"first you need to workout how to even your cuts on the side walls you dont want to start one side to find out you have to put a little sliver in once you have done that put a chalk line down and work from that"

"Draw a line in the middle of the room and work towards the outside.Try to avoid small cuts at the edge as they can work loose."

"You take a measurement of the straightest wall .Mark your equal measurement both ends .(you should aim for up to half the room).now put a chalk string line between the 2 marked measurements. Stick your glue down up to your line .now lay that glued area .then repeat .without bigging me job up you can't lay amtico on paragraph of info"
