  • Height limits for conservatory extension

Are there height limits or any other limitations when building a conservatory? Will I need planning permission? If I do need planning permission, is it the local council that I contact or someone else? I am based in Barnsley.

Should you clean inside a toaster?

Is it necessary to clean the inside of a toaster? I've seen lots of toaster cleaning hacks, but I'm worried this will break the toaster and I've never felt ill from eating toast.

I can see daylight in loft now neighbours had their roof done

Hi My neighbour just had their slate roof redone. They've used felt, new slates and a bonding gutter between the houses. The problem is that were the 2 roofs meet I can see daylight now in my lift. The slates on my roof now slope up a little bit to get onto the bonding gutter. There is no sign of any water coming in though, even though we've had heavy rain, strong winds and snow. Should I be worried?
