    Cutting an acrylic worktop

I have just bought an acrylic worktop for my kitchen. I don't have any experience cutting acrylic kitchen worktops. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or know what the difference is with cutting acrylic compared to wood. Is it easy enough or am i going to need to hire someone that specialises in acrylic worktops?

    How to heat a conservatory?

What is the best way to heat a conservatory? It’s really cold in there in the winter which means we can’t use it for 6 months of the year. Is installing a radiator the cheapest way to heat a conservatory? I’m worried we will be throwing away money through our heating bill to heat up the space.

    Boiler not heating

The u-bend beneath the kitchen sink is leaking. Now I’ve found the boiler isn’t heating. Could the leak in the u-bend have caused my boiler to lose pressure? The boiler is nearby in the kitchen.

Has my shower screen been sealed correctly?

Hello, I have installed a new bath shower screen recently. It does fit, but seems to be a little looser than expected. Does this happen usually, or ought there be more stiffness or friction to limit it’s movement? Also – I have a seal leak at the end of the hinge. Is there a possible way to stop this? Or any recommended seals I should use instead? Any advice would be appreciated – thanks!

    What size cable

Hi, to get electrics to a garden office, what size 3 core SWA cable required? 16mm or 25mm? Garden office has 2kw panel heater, 8.5kw electric shower, 4 double sockets, a fridge/freezer unit, microwave, coffee machine, and 11 downlights. I calculated around 100amps usage at any one time. Distance from house fuze box to garden office around 30-40 meter. Half overground, half underground. Any other tips welcome. (i. e. 4 core better idea?) Thank you. P
