  • possible causes and solutions for grass that isn't growing through the year

Even now in the middle of the summer, the grass in my garden isn't growing very well. At first I thought it was just remaining dormant for a little longer after the winter but the problem is persisting. What are the possible causes and what are the solutions?

    Wood burner Hetas certificate help

Been completely let down by a wood burner installer. We had a woodburner installed around a month ago. The company that installed it told us that they could self-certify. The problem is that I can't get in touch with them and im beginning to be concerned that i shouldnt use the burner. Am i going to have to get someone else to come and certify it? Can i do that? I feel like i've been robbed. Is there anyone i can contact about this? Thanks.

Gutter cleaning a DIY job or not?

I’ve lived in my two-storey house for 6 years and I’ve never had the gutters cleared. My friend said I should get someone in to do it for me but I don’t know what the state of them is. I’m worried I’ll be wasting money hiring someone. Are there any tools I can buy to clear them from the ground (not good with heights) or should I bite the bullet and get someone in?
