Why do my gutters overflow in heavy rain

My gutters don’t seem blocked but they still overflow in heavy rain. Do I have to hire a specialist for this?

"There could be a few reasons for this, They could be blocked in the downpipe, Or they have been installed with no run towards the outlet. If the current gutter is standard maybe installing a deep flow system would benefit. I would always suggest using a proffesional."

"Could be ur downpipe blocked or if u have shallow flow gutters might not be able to stand the amount of water flow from ur roof like deep flow gutters"

"Possibly not enough outlets and one outlet on one side of big roof is definitely not enough can't collect amount of water"

"If your guttering is clear and persists to overflow then it is probably to do with the amount of rainwater the guttering is having to deal with. It sounds like you need deepflow guttering that can handle more rain flow."

"You need deep flow gutting so can take more water. Or need reline the old ones. Better to get a pro and he know what's needed"

"Maybe you need a deep flow gutter too deal with the volume of water coming off the roof, half round gutter won’t deal with a lot of rain unless it’s deep flow, they use this a lot up Scotland"

"This could be due to 2 possibilities, one being the gutters, being clogged up and in need of clearing possibility 2 gutters, not being aligned properly, cause in the water not to flow to its outlet and overflowing before it reaches its destination"

"You need deep flow gutters for the pitch of the roof"

"More than likely the gutters are full and the downpipe is blocked. That is why the water won't drain. Thanks"
