We have replaced tiles on end wall of our L shaped bath and have a new hinged bath screen to go on which obviously means drilling into the tiles. Is this a DIY job or does it need an expert? Thanks.
I just wonder when we change interior stop tap in property, shall we inform to water supply because we are using mains stop outside the road to stop water supply to house or is it Ok to carried out work without informing water supply authority? Hello, I have a log burner fire installed in my home with a plate fitted above it also. When the fire is burning, the chimney breast does get very hot and there are some occasional crackling noises. Due to this I am considering a chimney liner to try help resolve this. Does my log burning fire need a chimney flue liner and will it make much difference to the heat on the chimney breast? Is my fire still safe to use in the meantime?
