Hello Myself and my partner are looking at some new homes which feature pebbledash walls on the outside. We would prefer the traditional brick look, as best as possible, rather than the existing pebbledash. We would consider these houses if there are suitable removal methods. Can the pebbledash layers be removed without leaving stains or damage to the brickwork beneath? Could bricks underneath be damaged in the process? Is the whole process expense typically?
Hi, I recently removed my skirting boards to make space for built-in wardrobes. Behind them was a space, then the brick. I want to make this part of the wall flat. What is the best way to do so?
Roughly what is the cost of smoothing all house ceilings? Not sure exact ft² but we're talking about 2 standard size bedrooms, 1 small study, 2 bathrooms, 1 guest toilet, medium to large size living room and medium kitchen. Thanks

Hi there! I’d like to know a bit more about the various paint sheens that exist and which ones are best suited for painting a living room? Will the more expensive products be noticeably better or could I end up being ripped off?
What exactly is tough coat plaster? Is it significantly more durable than other types of plaster? If so, how long does plaster usually last and how long would tough coat plaster last?
I have just had my conservatory roof changed for a timber roof. The plaster has dried and I'm in the process of stating to mist coat but the metal frame is visible. Will the emulsion paint cover this?
We have an apartment in a large, newly built apartment building. It is a monolithic structure with concrete block dividing walls. The block was covered in plaster and painted. We now have a crack in the plaster a few months later. Our contractor said to wallpaper because plaster walls could crack due to building settling as the apartments are all built out internally. We wanted paint though. The crack basically follows where a channel was carved into the plaster for wiring. It is not one clean crack, but rather a series of many hairline cracks that from a meter or two away looks like one crack. It seems there are many opinions on how to fix suck cracks. I do not understand the best way though. How should I repair it?
Cracks in ceilings after workmen in attix Can these be repaired using filler or do they need repairing with full re-skim as I won't be papering them there going to be painted. Thanks in advance
