Polymer vs cement render

Is polymer render better than ordinary cement render and if so why? Does it cost more?

"It’s not as good as sand and cement. It does not last as long so why pay more."

"Generally polymer render, for example a monocouche are colour coded saving the need and cost of decorating.
Not all but most polymer renders are one coat. Making application quicker.
Both polymer and sand / cement render are as good as each other if used correctly.
A polymer render depending on brand would probably be a little more expensive but there wouldn’t be a great difference once labour is added.
Know what type of surface you want rendered and then your decision will be easier.."

"Yes 10 times better, as its a resin base coat and silicon topcoat with a low maintenance colour of your choice
It's cost more because it takes longer but worth the extra cost for peace of mind"

"It costs more and looks a lot better and is far more durable and long lasting"
