I have very poor hot water pressure- its an older gas boiler/immersion tank- would a new immersion tank/element coupled with an electric shower solve the problem?

We have a bathroom extractor fan venting into our insulated loft space. We want to get it sorted and we were told by a tradesperson they could run the extractor fan out through the eaves.
