  • Extractor fan out through the eaves

We have a bathroom extractor fan venting into our insulated loft space. We want to get it sorted and we were told by a tradesperson they could run the extractor fan out through the eaves. I've read online that going through the eaves is a bad for mould as the moisture can condense there. Is this a good idea or should I ask to go through the soffit? Thanks in advance.

    Bathroom renovation tile tips

Hi there, I’m designing a bathroom renovation that I have in mind (it’s just the basics right now but I’m hoping to hire a professional to help with the design with a bit of essential input on my part). I’d like to know whether large tiles can help a small bathroom look larger? Also, just curious if the opposite is also true?

    Shower try replacment

Is it possible to remove the shower tray without damaging the tiles? It is possible to remove only one line tile from the try's perimeter. To do so, use a flat pry bar and hammer to remove only the bottom row or two of tiles, then cut through the cement board or drywall behind them.
