I would like to re-tile my bathroom with porcelain tiles on both the floor and wall. The tiles are 60x30cm. Currently, I have ceramic tiles on the walls. I have been told that if I remove the current tiles the plasterboard will need to be replaced, which is fine. However, today I was told that I cannot hang porcelain tiles directly onto plasterboard and I need to attach a Cement Backboard (sold by Topptiles) to the plasterboard and then hang the wall tiles. Is this correct?

Even if I do not flush toilet pressure drops and I refill everyday. The plumber did connect to two pipes near boiler. Whats wrong and what can be done?
