"Ideal for interior or exterior wood or metal from a brand you know, it has the capacity to cover 16 metres squared per coat and the can will cover around 40 metres square with one coat.

Johnstone’s Garden Colours provide up to 4 years of protection on most garden furniture such as sheds, fences, arbours, summer houses, trellis, tables and chairs. It is easy to apply and water-based so it shows through the natural grain of the wood. It dries in 2 hours allowing you to add another coat if you want to add more colour for a bolder look."

"Sand Prep, 1 x blocking primer/undercoat. then use salodin superdec wood protection for top 2 coats. You will be good for at least ten years."

"I am not sure if it will be recommendation for best paint but quite few years back we were using Barn Paint for the external woodwork in Folkestone, just round the harbour and it covered perfectly (of course after proper preparation) and did not had a call to come back since then - we gave labour warranty so that means paint is still in place."

"Hi Marian, we always use sandtex exterior weathershield white gloss or satin finish depending upon your preference. It always brightens the woodwork and is excellent quality."

"Ducks back is the best quality wood paint for weatherproofing and offers a great finished look. However, for pure solid weatherproofing a latex paint or bitumen paint that is extremely thick can coat almost anything in a thick durable layer."
