Not sure what trade I need

Hi, we have a gas fire, getting some large debris coming out the chimney. I’ve approached chimney sweeps but they need fire disconnecting?

"The chimney should have a flue liner inside of it. Gas safe engineers can disconnect the fire, then they can either swap the liner or have the sweeps clean it and then gas engineer turn back on and test"
