    Hello. We completed the refurbishment of our new home 15 months ago including some new circuits and all new electrical plugs, and light switches. It is ex-council property. We just found out that the electrical system is unsafe and could cause electrocution as there is no earthing in some of the circuits. We have now run out of time and money to do a new wired system and are wondering what direction to take. I am pretty nervous to live in the property considering we have a 5yo daughter. What alternative options could I consider?

    The house I have is quite old and I am looking to have internal doors replaced unfortunately the sizes of doors I can purchase are quite a few cm too big and it's my understanding that you can only remove a small amount off doors to be hung. Would I need l to get new frames installed aswell or is there a way round this? Any feedback is appreciated as I am all ready to get it done but don't want to waste money purchasing doors that can't be fitted. Many thanks

    I have a semi-detached property and the render is coming off in places around the window. It looks sturdy elsewhere and it doesn't seem to extensive that it should all have to come off but can you patch these bits? How do you know If the render is in too bad of a condition, what do you use to patch? Any help would be appreciated.

    Fix broken bedroom door handle, any ideas?

    Bedroom door handle wont open, hinge is other side of the door, can't unscrew handle, and door frame covers an inch of the door by the handle on my side of the door so haven't been able to get at the latch either. Any ideas what to do?
