    If I apply a good undercoat on my doors will satinwood be a good choice as the final coat or gloss for example will it be less likely for the paint to scratch easily as I have dogs who sometimes scratch if the door is closed on them and what brand of satinwood would come highly recommended

    Shower not staying hot

    My shower keeps running cold on me. It heats up alright at first but then goes cold after about 30 seconds to a minute. I have tried turning it up but I can't turn it up much more. Do I need a new one? How much is a new electric shower?

    Scrim tape loose filler on top

    A painter came in and covered a ceiling crack using scrim tape with some plaster/filler. Taken off the top layer and while the tape looks stuck to the ceiling the top layer seems to be loose. Any suggestions what went wrong and how to fix it?

    A self employed fitter doing roller garage doors. Does he need any electrical qualifications. Ie controller 240v going to a 13amp plug 2 way motor. 24v light guards. Also 240v motor cable 4 core goes through side plate. No grommets fitted whole door is aluminium slats. Thanks
