"Curious answers the real no go about rendering in winter is the small matter of expansion. The water in the render expands when it freezes and so when it thaws out it leaves cracks or shells off. Best advice I can give is leave it till spring."

"Yes, just make sure you apply render at the right temp on the day. Renders have different minimum temp, ask the contractor for advice."

"Depends how far into winter you’re thinking. I wouldn’t touch a rendering job between early December and end of February!

Other plasterers might be different

Hope that answers your question"
