I have a UPVC door which closes OK in winter (easier) and is very difficult to close in summer. This is the door mechanism not the door itself. I've had a good look around the door and its not warped, etc. seems to fit the door surround correctly, ie. not dropped, etc. To my view it seems to have been badly installed/set-up/adjusted. I cannot seem to figure out how to correct this / adjust it so it closes easily and correctly. I believe this does not require a new door, just adjustment..!! Wanting someone who can adjust this door..!! Please give a quote..!!

Hello all I am in the process of kitchen renovations at the moment and will need a new gas hob to be installed. I had thought his would be a task only a Gas Safe registered engineer would be able to do legally, however the builder involved in my renovation work tells me that it is a simple change of disconnecting the old hob and reconnecting to the new, so it would be too minor to need a specialist and that he could do it himself. Is this the case, or am I having the wool pulled over my eyes? I’d like to hear from the horse’s mouth on this, from actual engineers.

Hi Have a 3 bed semi detached house in west Sussex, near Gatwick. Tv's aren't working properly in the bedrooms anymore and issues with buffering downstairs. Lots of cables on outside of house that I thought have needed looking at since I've been there. Friend of friend came out to quote says need new ariel and there's a splitter in the loft with water regression, all needs re-doing with 3 new plates ? which I wasn't surprised at. £170 + VAT total cost £400-£500 .... Is that about right???
