    I have a fourteen-year-old Worcester boiler that is leaking a bit. This has been diagnosed as a fault with the heat exchanger. The boiler is still working. So, is it better to repair with a new heat exchanger or replace the boiler? Can someone give a rough estimate of the relative cost differential?

    Do I need lead flashing on my roof?

    Hello, I have no lead flashing on my artificial slate roof, but have been told there are lead soakers. My local roofer says lead flashing isn’t a requirement for this roof type. Does anyone know if I should have lead flashing on my roof? I have some concern that some leaks on a ceiling-adjacent wall could be related to this, or perhaps the soakers aren’t effective enough. Any info would be appreciated – thanks Gordon

    I am wanting to know where I stand when a builder does not adhere to Building regulations? I have had a garage conversion done and the builder has not followed the architectural plans so now my conversion has not passed building regs and is unwilling to come and put the failures to rights. He is demanding the final payment for completion when the job has not been completed.

    Why is there no TV signal from the aerial port?

    Hello I have been trying to get my TV to connect to an aerial point of the home, but there apparently no TV signal. This is an aerial port I have not used before and features two cables from the point. The aerial seems to have worked fine through other ports in the past. Has anyone any advice on this issue?
