Reversing an internal door

Hi, I have a door that is currently on the left side of the frame opening into a room, and I need to have it rehung to the right side of the frame opening out of the room, how much would this cost?

Thanks!

"Depending on the Type of door I can repair on the edge and flip the hinges. Repair the frame also and swing it the other way. Would cost in labour and materials around £50-£80"

"Hi

This should be an easy fix by chopping hinges out on other side and hang door. The cost for this should be around £50

Thanks

"It shouldn't take a decent chippy no longer than 3 hours to reverse the door. But there's more work involved in just reversing the door. The old hinges will need peacing in and the lock as well. Is there a perko on the door? If so that will need to be looked at as well. As for the cost i would say around £150."

"Depending what if any alterations to the frame also the hinges would be on the other side and where the hinges were on the left of the door now on the right ... so door could look messy! Somewhere around £60 depending"

"Hi Lazlo, you're looking at £100 to reverse the door."

"This would probably be around £200, you could actually get away with using the same lining as your basically just turning it around, will be a bit of decorating touch ups after just from where you’ve had to take arch’s off and door stops etc and find the screws but all in all you shouldn’t need to buy any extra materials."

"The door isn’t the problem here. It depends if your door stops are planted or fitted? If fitted your door facings and door stops will probably have to be removed and refitted. Possibly new ones might be required. Cost: anything from £75 to £175 depending on circumstances."

"Depending on the size of the door and the lining and condition, it would most likely cost from £80 to £100 as an individual charge. If however there were multiple doors to be hung the cost would be reduced.
Hope this helps"

"Hi Lazlo, I would say that you would have to buy a new door.. unless your door frame is perfectly square which is very unlikely. I usually charge £50 to hang a new door. I hope this helps.

Kind regards, Joe"

"Hi

You would need the frames filled and then new hinge placement cut. You would also need the indie door filled and new hinge placements cut.

Depending on what you wanted the doors would need repaint to suit also doors frames. The cost would be depending on what you wanted

Thanks

Alex"
