Structural problem

Hello,

Our floor had dropped massively on one side in our living room Snd kitchen. They is a really damp smell coming from it and it feels quiet wet.

How much would it cost to get this fixed? And on average how many days would it take to fix?

I have pictures to show.

The proparty is an end Terrence house.

"Well in response to your question, I take it this is a suspended wooden floor? In which case it sounds like you have a nasty case of wet rot. Providing the sleeper walls are intact and dependent on the floor area, it should take around 3 days to take up existing and replace."

"hello , can you share the photos and the dimensions , this will help to evaluate the cost and time"

"Without assessing and finding the cause for the joists to rot a price can’t be completely accurate
Could do with knowing what’s underneath is it open or closed floor.
Estimate anywhere from £4000.00 to £8000.00 depending on if intrusive damp proofing methods are required"

"if the floor has dropped & theres a smell of damp theres obviously an issue thats caused this to happen, the route of the issue causing the floor to drop would need to be found 1st, with this issue its usually caused by leaking pipes or water ingress getting in somewere, an inspection of the issue would need to be done 1st before a price could be given for cost to repair"

"After inspection theses questions could be answered much more accurately. It depends how much is rotted and how much floor has to be taken up"

"Hi there, it would be almost impossible to answer you without seeing the property, to evaluate scope of works.

We would need to assess if the floor is safe enough to be repaired or completely remove it and reinstall it.

Please forward me the pictures. Maybe potentially i can pop by to view the property aswell."
