He turned up to do the job and said he could get the part for which he took £450. He smashed the tiles and has left a pile of rubble.
Harrow Plumbing & Harrow Homes maintenanceThis customer had already had 2 other plumbers turn up and both of them after breaking 2 holes in 2 different areas then just left stating they couldnt do the job ,or because of the customer. I agreed to do the job ,the customer said they had the news cistern but it was wrong and si I said I would order one as it was a special size ,what happend was a simple error the plumbers merchant said it would be 2 days to get in ,wen it did turn up it was the wrong size ,I then informed the customer and then this is were she started to get rude and suggesting we had run of with the funds ,something we felt very strongly about and very angry,.I explained it was a simple mistake and said they would re send out another one and take abit of the price ,but the customer just started shouting and getting rude suggesting nonsense about me and my company ,threating me and suggesting the police were told . This customer had obviously done this to the other 2 plumbers hence why they walked of job . So the outcome was I suggested refunding £ 150 back and we charged her for a days labour for accessing the area of wall and the tiles and taking out the old cistern .so we carried out the work and charged her for the work we did as a normal company would do ,she then starting threating saying we had theft her money and wanted it all back ,even though we had done days work there and entitled to get payment for the time and work we had done . So thus is the true storey ,ask yourself who did the original plumbers walk out without finishing the work ?? We are a committed company of over 30 years with many reviews which I would ask you to read them so you can clearly see ,how other customers like and give true reviews . Kind regard Darren

I had Darren quote from detailed photos that were sent. Once on the job he advised of an alternative that I had not thought of which I’ve agreed to. For the actual job requested - Darren completed my shower unit replacement in good time. And talked me through what he was doing. I had the same unit but pipes were on backwards. He advised he could change this and did so with ease. Within the time scale he guesstimated. Highly recommended. He cleared all areas afterwards and was respectful of my flooring. Very punctual and communicative.
