"Paint rollers often shed fluff or fibers during use, which can be frustrating and make the finish of your painting job look messy. Here are some tips to help prevent your paint roller from shedding fluff:

Choose a high-quality roller: Look for a roller that is made with a high-quality material such as microfiber or a blend of polyester and nylon. These materials are less likely to shed fibers compared to cheaper alternatives.

Wash the roller before use: Before using a new roller, rinse it with water and let it dry completely. This will help to remove any loose fibers and prevent them from shedding during use.

Use a lint roller: Run a lint roller over the roller before use to remove any loose fibers that may be present.

Prime the roller: Prime the roller by rolling it several times on a piece of cardboard or a similar surface to remove any excess fibers.

Don't over-saturate the roller: Avoid overloading the roller with paint, as this can cause it to shed fibers. Use a paint tray to remove any excess paint before applying it to the wall.

Roll in the right direction: When rolling the paint, work in a consistent direction and avoid rolling back over an area that has already been painted. This will help to prevent the roller from shedding fibers.

By following these tips, you should be able to prevent your paint roller from shedding fluff and achieve a smooth, professional-looking finish"

"There are several ways to prevent this, you can use masking tape to wrap around the roller then remove it to take fluff and loose peaces off the roller head, put the roller in water then keep spinning it in a wall our floor to remove fluff."
