"Hi,
Yes – small white tears or scuffs on dark wallpaper are quite common.
You can try one of these quick fixes:

1. Use a navy blue felt-tip pen or artist’s marker (close in shade) to carefully colour in the small white areas – it helps hide the damage without replacing the wallpaper.

2. For slightly bigger areas, try a navy water-based paint and a fine brush – test on a hidden spot first.

3. If the paper is lifted or creased, gently lift and reglue it using a small brush and wallpaper adhesive."

"Your navy blue wallpaper has some small white tears and areas where the color has been rubbed or bent away, exposing the white beneath. Here are a few solutions to cover these imperfections:

1. Touch-Up with Paint
- The easiest fix is to use a navy blue acrylic or latex paint (in a small tester pot or tube) to carefully dab over the white spots.
- Use a fine artist’s brush for precision.
- If you don’t have an exact match, try mixing blue and black paint until you get close.

2. Use a Navy Blue Marker or Wax Crayon**
- A **permanent marker** (like a Sharpie) or a **wax furniture crayon** in navy blue can fill in small scratches and tears.
- Test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure the color blends well.

### **3. Wallpaper Repair Paste**
- If the tears are slightly raised, apply a small amount of **wallpaper adhesive** underneath and press the paper back down.
- Once dry, touch up with paint or marker as needed.

4. Decorative Cover-Ups
- If the damage is in a noticeable area, consider covering it with:
- **Wall decals** (in a coordinating design).
- **Framed artwork or photos**.
- **Fabric or washi tape** (if it suits your decor).

5. Prevent Further Damage**
- Apply a **clear matte sealant** (like Mod Podge) over repaired areas to protect them.
- Be cautious when moving furniture or cleaning near the wallpaper."

"Have to stick back down areas needed and maybe colour match and patch best you can with some paint"

"If you have a spare roll of paper, you may be able to remove that drop and replace it. Alternatively you could use a crayon or pen to colour it in. Or to touch up with a paint to hide it a bit"

"You’ve got a couple of good options for fixing white tears and scuffs on navy blue wallpaper without having to rehang it:

Quick & Simple Fixes
1. Use a Matching Felt-Tip Pen or Paint
• Find a navy blue permanent marker (Sharpie) or water-based craft paint that matches your wallpaper.
• Gently fill in the white tears so they blend into the paper.
• Tip: Test in an inconspicuous area first, as some markers can leave a shiny finish.
2. Watercolour Pencil or Crayon
• A dark blue artist’s pencil or wax crayon can be a quick touch-up tool.
• Rub lightly and blend with your finger to avoid harsh lines.
3. Wallpaper Repair Paste for Lifted Edges
• If any areas are bent or peeling, gently lift the flap, apply a small amount of wallpaper adhesive, and smooth back down with a damp sponge.

For Multiple or Larger Marks
• Wall Decals or Frames:
If there are several noticeable spots in one area, consider adding decorative elements like picture frames or wall stickers to disguise the damage stylishly.
• Repainting Over the Wallpaper (if it’s paintable):
If it’s textured or vinyl wallpaper, sometimes people lightly repaint with a matching emulsion – but this is a last resort."

"For any flaps or tears lifting up:

Apply a little wallpaper adhesive using a small brush or cotton bud.

Press gently to smooth it back down.

Once dry, touch up with colour using a pencil or pen, as above.
