"IF THE OLD PAINT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE NEW AND ITS IN GOOD CONDITION I WOULD RECOMMEND THE PANNELS LIGHT SANDED AND APPLY NEW PAINT, IF ITS NOT COMPATIBLE I WOULD RECOMMEND A PRIMER BETWEEN OLD PAINT BEFORE APPLYING THE NEW PAINT"

"Clean the Wood
Wipe the sanded wood with a damp cloth to remove all dust.
Let it dry fully.
Apply Primer
Use a wood primer (for exterior/outside use).
Apply one coat using a paintbrush or roller.
Let it dry as per the instructions (usually 4–6 hours).
Primer helps paint stick better and last longer.
Paint the Wood
Use exterior wood paint (weatherproof).
Apply 1st coat of paint and let it dry.
Then apply a 2nd coat for better finish and protection."

"The exterior wood panels beneath the windows will be properly prepared by sanding and priming, followed by two coats of high-quality, weather-resistant exterior paint. This process will enhance the appearance of your home and help protect the wood from weather-related damage."
