Pet-friendly motion sensors

What are the best motion sensors for pet owners? I hear some are tolerant of movement from cats.

"Pet friendly detectors are designed for dogs, cats are the worst as they can jump up everywhere, and good alarm installer would set up dual verification on the system so 2 separate devices need to be triggered, would always just use permiter protection with cats"
