Question

what would be the cost of replacing a pitched roof with new smooth marley tiles, re-battening, 2 gable ends front and back to be mortared (upside down 'v' roof).  house floor area 8m x 10m .

Obvously scaffold all round say £1800 remove existing roof and disposs of all waste materials £1600
Supply all labour plant and materials to construct a new roof with Marley tiles £4500 all of the above total plus Vat £7,900

I mean a skip alone is nearly £450 nowadays.
