Is concrete or clay more durable for a roof tile?

"Clay is more Durable than concrete. This does depend on the quality of the tiles obviously.
A good quality reclaimed clay tile is probably better than a lot of the new ones at the minute as most of the manufacturers are not leaving the tiles to cure and as such they ate very brittle."

"Both concrete and clay tiles are durable and long lasting though clay tiles are more aesthetically pleasing and hold their colour.
Concrete tiles you will find fading over time and wear thin however, they are much cheaper!. ."
