How to clean my roof tiles

Seen people jet wash them but others say that’s a bad idea. What’s the best way to clean roof tiles without causing damage?

"The best way is good old elbow grease, with a wire brush it’s not as quick as jet wash but is a lot less damaging."

"A good days graft with brushes and scrapers will do the job
I would recommend a coat of weather seal while up there"

"Cleaning your roof tiles doesn’t need doing , generally it’s cosmetic so in 2/3 years the moss ,algae or lichen will still comeback also if the tiles are concrete you can actually weaken them"
