How much does a walk in wardrobe cost?

We've got a box room about 2m by 2.5m off the main bedroom that's currently wasted space. We'd love to turn it into a walk in wardrobe with fitted shelving and rails. What sort of budget should we set aside for a joiner (or builder?) to do it properly?

Hello Caroline, obviously it would depend on the level of finish, if you were thinking of a paint finish that would keep cost down if you allowed up to £1000 that should be fine.
