How much does it cost to build an aviary?

We're thinking of getting a couple of parrots and want a proper outdoor aviary, roughly 3m by 2m. What would it cost to have one built and installed?

Depending on exact dimensions etc and this allows a float on each for any changes

12 by 6 cost is 300 pound,  wooden and wire fence.

That would depend on size and quality but anywhere between  £500 and £1500 should get you a reasonable structure...the thing being its quite a lot of smaller sized tanalised timber and a reasonable thickness in the mesh ..so materials are the biggest cost probably more than the labour. Chris

For a 3m x 2m outdoor aviary, I’d expect roughly £1,500–£3,000 supplied and installed for a good quality timber and mesh build. The price can go higher if you want a concrete base, insulated shelter, double doors, roofing or more bespoke sections. Ground preparation and access to the garden can also affect the final cost.
