How long does a loft conversion take?

We're planning a dormer loft conversion on a 1930s semi. How long should we realistically budget for from start to finish? We'd need to stay in the house throughout

"Hi loft conversion on a 1930s semi realistically 4-6 weeks. I would say 95% costumers stay in the house while the works are going on. Probably the worse week is when the stair case is fitted due to mess but after that it’s all good."

"A loft conversion dorma would normally take between 4-8 weeks and that is added time with any problems inbetween, we have completed many loft conversion with customers living in the properties where we work around them to make sure minimal disruption to our customers day to day lives."

"It all depends on lots of different factors... size, layout, current configurations etc, but you could be looking anything between 4-8weeks roughly"
