Gutter leak in the joint

Dripping water from the gutter joint. Was advised to clean and reseal but still dripping (if not more). What should be done please?

"The rubber seals have probably worn out in the union . You can clean / dry / and seal them sometimes with adhesive but it’s advised to replace the union . - RW Roofing"

"It's always best to replace the gutter union as the rubber is more than likely perished or has shrunk causing it to leak its a very simple fix"

"Needs a replacement once they start leaking can never really get them right again re sealing only works for a little while"

"Best thing is to remove the guttering and realign it properly using new fittings.

"I personally would take off and renew with like for like . As longer lasting .

Cheaper option would to be renew all joins with new unions etc . And check gutter is free flowing"

"Wood joints seal the sales go inside the gutter joints so basically you’ll have to buy a new just join. That’s the only way you will solve the problem when you say it last for a bit of time"

"Just replace the whole union as the old rubbers might have corroded"

"Sounds like the rubber has perished, you can get a replacement union for standard gutters for less than a fiver so best to just replace"
