Fitting of new door handles on 2 interior doors

The spring in the tubular latches have gone in 2 of my door handles. I have purchased nice new handles but unsure of what size replacement latches to get and have zero DIY skills.

"You will have to take one of the old handles off and take out the square spindel
Remove the 2 screws in the edge of the door securing the latch
Remove latch from its housing measure latch it will either be 63mm or 76mm

"Hi, you just need to take the old one out, or measure from edge of door to centre of spindle hole. Which can be seen once the handle is removed. Standard sizes are 44 or 56 mm from edge of door to centre of spindle hole."

"You should measure your latch size from the edge of the door to the centre of the door handle spindle, hope this helps.
