Condensate line and water?

Should a condensate line have water in it?

"Yes only when it's condensing it should hold water is there enough fall on the pipe if not it could freeze and the boiler will go into Lockout"

"no it should have a fall to drain and not have standing water in it, as it could freeze blocking pipe this will interfere with the normal operation of the boiler."

"The condensate line should drain to the outdoors and during humid weather you should see plenty of water dripping from it. If it's not dripping, it's not draining! If there is standing water in the drain pan, your condensate drain is clogged"

"Hi not really no ,the condence pipe is for the boiler and only usually drips ,if there is constant water in the pipe then there is either an issue with the boiler or there is a blockage in the line or pipework the condence is run into ,which wi need to be unlocked"

"No really it shoul fall all r the way to the drain especially if outside because it can freeze in winter"
