I want to connect my hot and cold outdoor taps to one hose for washing the car etc . As they dont have an inbuilt non return valve cani just use a hoselock type non return valve on both taps , then connect to hose via a splitter/ y branch without any further plumbing. Also are they required on both taps, or should I have to replace both taps with built in valves?
Can mould spread throughout a home even if there isn’t a water leakage issue? Mould is still spreading in different rooms of the house. It all started with a big leak several years ago but that issue was fixed and I don’t see any other signs of leakage. So is it possible that some of the mould simply survived the initial effort to kill it off and has spread from there even without a renewed problem with water leaking? I know that moisture can cause the problem too. How can I tell if moisture/humidity levels are too high in my home? And how can I rule out the possibility that a new water leak is helping the mould to spread again?
Constantly leaking overflow from previous questions asked by others I understand it might be a ball valve not working correctly in water tank can you estimate a cost and time it may poss take to fix

I want to change my passage radiator, we cut the water supply to the radiators, there was no running hot water and every radiator was off. We isolated the radiator that we wanted to take off. I'm on communal heating by the way, as we started to drain the water there was just loads coming out, we stopped at 2 buckets but more wanted to come, is this normal? Or have we done something wrong?
I want to replace a horizontal radiator (I think it is 600×1200 Type 11 → ~4,000 BTU) with a vertical double radiator (probably Urban Vertical Radiator – Anthracite – Double Panel – 1800 × 532 m BTU around 6,000). I had an extension build which is open to the kitchen and it is too cold in winter (total cubic meters 40 for kitchen plus 20 for extension). The house is three storeys and the upper floors are already too hot. Modern Ultracom Condensing Boiler. Is this a viable plan?
Why is the overflow still dripping constantly after the ball valve has been replaced twice.
Hello, Would it be possible to replace an open vent hot water cylinder with a non vented one? Would the new one fix water pressure too, as hot water pressure is basically non existent? Thanks
